Poland’s financial technology sector featured at the 10th Payments360 conference in Athens, with a panel on the journey from BLIK to agentic AI. Paweł Widawski, President of Future Finance Poland and Vice-President of FinTech Poland, moderated the discussion with Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, CEO of BLIK, and Mateusz Pniewski, CEO of TransactionLink.
The panel formed part of a wider Polish presence under the “Poland – Fintech Innovation Lab” banner. The programme included a stand presenting Polish financial technology and a networking meeting at the Polish Embassy in Athens.
According to the embassy’s account, the initiative presented Poland as a technology partner for Greek financial institutions, particularly in mobile payments and cybersecurity. It also created opportunities for direct conversations between Polish businesses and representatives of the Greek market.
The evening “Poland-Greece Fintech Bridge” meeting extended those conversations beyond the conference. The delegation included representatives and members of FinTech Poland, among them BLIK, TransactionLink, Autopay and the Polish Credit Information Bureau.
The Athens programme connected the presentation of Polish capabilities with practical relationship-building, supporting dialogue between the two financial technology communities.
