Paweł Widawski

President

President of Future Finance Poland and Vice-President of FinTech Poland. Previously he was Vice-President of the Cashless Poland Foundation, Director of Payment Systems, Electronic Banking and Security Unity at the Polish Bank Association, a Board Member at the European Payments Council, a Member of the Payment Systems Committee of the European Banking Federation, a Member of the Payment System Market Expert Group at the European Commission and an independent member of supervisory boards at leading Payment Institutions in Poland (First Data Polska SA, PayU SA). He was a Co-Director of the Founder Institute in Warsaw and Co-Founder of Evenea.pl, Mr. Widawski is a graduate of Warsaw University where he studied Law and Administration. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at his Alma Mater where he also serves as Head of the Financial Regulation and Technology Center. Mr. Widawski also completed studies at the Leadership Academy for Poland.

Piotr Brewiński

Vice-President

Vice-President of Future Finance Poland and President of FinTech Poland. Formerly an Advisor to the Management Board of the Polish Bank Association. He has served as an expert and consulted on some of the most important banking and payment services legislation as well as regulations introduced in recent years. He also coordinated the activities of the Banking Law Council at the Polish Bank Association. Mr. Brewiński is a specialist in banking law, payment services and systems, electronic banking and identification, trust services, outsourcing, cybersecurity, and new technologies. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and has also obtained a Diploma in Introduction to English Law and the Law of the European Union from the University of Cambridge.

Katarzyna Multan

Project manager

A Project Manager at Future Finance Poland responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and making sure all the foundation’s activities run smoothly. Her professional career includes wide-ranging experience in the IT industry where she has played an important role in developing numerous e-commerce platforms and cybersecurity solutions. A results-driven person and specialist in process optimization, project management, resource acquisition, and sales, Ms. Multan feels most at home when designing and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. She has a proven track record in training and mentoring teams to help improve their self-management and organizational excellence. Ms. Multan is passionate about innovation and believes in continuous improvement. That’s why she is always looking  for new technologies which can be used to streamline operations and maximize impact.

Zuzanna Krauzwoicz

Senior lawyer

A Senior Legal Counsel at Future Finance Poland and FinTech Poland who specializes in banking law, payment services, and regulatory issues related to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF). Ms. Krauzwoicz’s professional interests also include matters related to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. In 2024 she defended her thesis titled “The use of artificial intelligence in the financial sector with a special focus on AML systems”. Ms. Krauzwoicz has managed several complex projects involving stakeholders from the regulatory and business communities including sandboxes and implementation involving multiple work streams. She has co-authored publications on AML, cybersecurity, MIFID, PSD2 and RODO.

Aneta Girdwoyń

Advocate, senior lawyer

An Attorney at Law and Senior Legal Counsel at Future Finance Poland and FinTech Poland. Ms. Girdwoyń specializes in banking and finance law as well as payment services law and regulatory matters related to crypto assets and open finance. She has worked for a leading international law firm  and handled several domestic and cross-border financing transactions as well as public and private bond issues. In 2017 Ms. Girdwoyń graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She has also completed a course in US law co-organized by Columbia Law School and Leiden University.
