Future Finance Poland joins European financial centres in Tallinn

Future Finance Poland took part in the spring meeting of the EU Roundtable of Financial Centres in Tallinn on 16 April 2026. Hosted by FinanceEstonia, the meeting brought together organisations working to strengthen Europe’s financial markets and their contribution to economic growth.

Paweł Widawski, President of the Board of Future Finance Poland, represented FFP at the meeting. The Roundtable provides a forum for financial centres to exchange experience and develop shared positions on the future of the EU financial market.

Following the meeting, members issued a communiqué setting out priorities for a more competitive European financial ecosystem. These included reducing market fragmentation, improving the flow of capital across borders, supporting regulation that enables innovation, and developing financial infrastructure that is secure and able to work across markets.

For FFP, participation in the Roundtable connects work on the development of Poland’s financial centre with the wider European agenda. Access to capital, financial innovation and cooperation between markets are central to that agenda.

The Tallinn meeting formed part of FFP’s international engagement through the EU Roundtable and the World Alliance of International Financial Centers.
