Strategic Roundtable on Cyber Resilience at the Polish Embassy in Brussels

On May 22, a high-level, closed-door roundtable was held at the Polish Embassy in Brussels, bringing together key stakeholders from across the European financial and cybersecurity landscape. The discussion, titled “Collaboration of the Financial Sector as a Key Factor in Enhancing Cyber Resilience in the European Financial Market,” was organized in parallel with Cybersec Europe.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Republic of Poland, underscoring the strategic importance of cybersecurity in shaping Europe’s digital future.

The roundtable convened representatives from the European Cybersecurity Competence Center, European Cyber Security Organization, Mastercard, Euroclear, KNF, NASK, Microsoft, and the European Parliament, among others. Participants engaged in an open and in-depth dialogue on pressing cybersecurity challenges and the need for cross-sector collaboration, data sharing, and coherent policy responses at the European level.

This roundtable forms part of an ongoing effort to strengthen strategic cooperation between public and private actors and to support the development of a more secure and resilient digital financial ecosystem in Europe.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants for their active engagement, insightful contributions, and willingness to tackle complex issues with openness and clarity. A summary report of the discussion will be published in the coming weeks.
