Future Finance Poland, in cooperation with Mastercard – the substantive partner of the Digital Payments Specialization – invites you to join a new strategic initiative: Digital Payment Security.
Mission:
To create a collaborative platform for designing systemic solutions that will enhance the security of digital transactions across the Polish payments sector.
Specific Objectives:
- Identify the key security challenges in digital payments in Poland, including the most common vulnerabilities and barriers to addressing them.
- Analyse global solutions and best practices in digital payment security from other markets.
- Develop best practices and/or systemic solution recommendations to mitigate the identified challenges in the Polish market — for example, mechanisms for secure data/information exchange between payment system participants.
Expected Outcome:
A comprehensive report that will:
- Summarise the key challenges in payment security.
- Outline existing industry efforts to improve security.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance systemic resilience in the Polish financial sector’s payment systems.
This material will complement UOKiK guidelines and support preparations for PSD3/PSR regulations.
Format & Timeline:
- Participant meetings every 1–2 months.
- Workshop-based format to:
- Identify vulnerabilities.
- Ideate cross-system solutions (drawing on global examples).
- Develop final systemic recommendations.
- Identify vulnerabilities.
- First workshop: October 2025.
