Regulatory Competitiveness: FFP Statement on Supervisory Reporting

As part of its work within the Regulatory Competitiveness Council, Future Finance Poland has prepared and submitted a detailed position paper to the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

The document focuses on reporting obligations imposed on Polish payment institutions, offering recommendations for how these processes could be simplified — while safeguarding supervisory effectiveness and delivering benefits to both institutions and regulators.

In line with current deregulatory initiatives and the government’s aim to reduce legal burdens for Polish businesses, the paper identifies areas where reporting can be optimised without compromising oversight. We have formally asked the Ministry to review our recommendations and engage in a direct discussion to address the challenges and potential solutions outlined in the paper. We strongly believe that these insights can help shape more effective and market-friendly regulation.
