The next meeting of the Regulatory Benchmarking initiative, part of the Digital Payments specialization, is scheduled for January 2025. To date, the initiative has convened two productive meetings where we examined regulatory barriers reported by our partners. These discussions enabled participants to conduct in-depth analyses, paving the way for the prioritization of key focus areas.
Our efforts have particularly centered on ensuring the consistency of reporting requirements at both national and EU levels, as well as addressing the lack of cohesive regulations governing the responsibilities of non-banking institutions. The Regulatory Competitiveness Council, established under Future Finance Poland, has been instrumental in supporting these endeavors.
As we enter the phase of developing detailed solutions, the finalized position of the Regulatory Benchmarking working group will be submitted to regulatory authorities for consideration.
