We are initiating consultations as part of the Data & AI Specialization of Future Finance Poland. We kindly request your assistance in formulating a position regarding the draft Data Management Act (UC67).
According to information on the government website, the new regulations will increase the amount of data that can be used in innovative products, services, and applications.
The legislation will introduce mechanisms to allow certain categories of data from the public sector to be reused, even if they are protected due to the rights of others. This includes data that is confidential for commercial reasons, protected by intellectual property rights, or related to personal data safety. The Act aims to ensure full protection of these rights while supporting citizens and public authorities in sharing protected data.
