Pawel Widawski, president of FinTech Poland, took part in a meeting organized by the Economic Department of the Polish Embassy in Berlin. The event, in support of Poland’s G20 ambitions, familiarized German audiences with the Polish position on the issue, among other things.
FinTech Poland’s presentation, entitled Future Finance Poland – a new opening for a long known financial center, showed specific Polish achievements, successes and potential of both the financial innovation industry and the economy as a whole. Piotr Arak, director and co-founder of the Polish Economic Institute, and Krzysztof Maciejewski of Blik also had their presentations. At the end, there was a very lively discussion. Many interesting questions were raised, giving the opportunity to deepen the issues presented.
